Porter Fire Department Firefighters and Command Staff spent the morning completing a multi-agency drill with the following agencies: South Montgomery County Fire Department Montgomery County Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management Montgomery County Hospital District Montgomery County Pct. 4 Constables Office Houston Fire Department Tactical Deployment Division .
Drills like this one, allow the agencies to work together on large scale events such as Hurricanes, Tornadoes and Wind Events. Skills for searching, damage assessments, patient triage, communication, and deployment of assets are practiced and reviewed. This allows Montgonery County Agencies to be more prepared when this develops.
