Visit a Fire Station

Fire Station Visits

It is recommended that Station Visits requests be submitted at least two weeks in advance, although requests can be made at any time. This allows our firefighters to incorporate the visits into their daily inspection and training schedules.

Fire Station Visits generally last between 15-30 minutes, depending on the size of your group.

At least five people must be in attendance for a Fire Station Visit. If you have a group of fewer than five people, there is no need to schedule a tour in advance. You are welcome to visit a fire station at your convenience within the time frames listed below. If the crew is not busy, they will provide a guided tour.
Visits require one adult for every five children. Fire Station Visits are limited to 25 people. Groups with more than 25 participants must submit separate requests on separate days or schedule a prevention program. Due to the restraints of our facility, for groups of 25 or more, we reccommend scheduled a visit to your location.

Fire Crews will remain in service and may be called to an emergency while your visit is in progress, or they may be on a call when you arrive. Please allow an amount of time that you determine is reasonable to wait for the crew to return. If the crew does not return or must leave during your visit, all efforts will be made to reschedule.

Please note that visits do not include safety presentations or lessons. Photos or videos from these visits may be used on social media or the department website. If there is an issue with regard to use, please inform the department when scheduling.
